Get your tickets now for entertainment at its best as the Sketch Club Players presents its 2017 season opener “The Music Man,” Feb. 3-18 at the RCGC Fine Arts Center in Sewell NJ.

This family-friendly classic is the story of fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill and his attempt to con the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys’ band that he vows to organize – despite the fact that he doesn’t know a trombone from a treble clef. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for Marian, the town librarian, who transforms him into a respectable citizen by curtain’s fall. This Tony Award winning show is funny, romantic, touching, and bursting with song, including favorites such as “Seventy-Six Trombones,” “Trouble,” and “Til There Was You.” For more information, or to purchase tickets, go to www.sketchclubplayers.org , or call (856) 848-8089.

And don’t forget – it’s not too late to purchase a season subscription to the Sketch Club’s blockbuster 2017 season at the Woodbury playhouse located at 433 Glover Street , which includes the comedy “Play On!” and musicals “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” “Ragtime,” and “Home for the Holidays.” Subscriptions can be purchased online or by calling the theatre.
