Parks, Recreation & Forestry

The Division of Parks, Recreation & Community Forestry is responsible for the maintenance of City parks, landscapes, and public lands, caring for more than 3,050 street and park trees, and countless active and passive recreational facilities within the parks, such as playgrounds, athletic fields, and lake system. The division provides special event assistance for events that include the Memorial Day Parade, Annual Main Street Block Party, Jaycees 4 th of July Program and Fireworks, Farmers Market, and Candlelight Shopping.
