City Hall Summer Hours – For the period of May 25 through August 31, 2015, City Hall will be open Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and on Friday 8:00am to 12:00pm, instead of the regular hours Monday-Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm. The Construction/Code Enforcement Office hours will not change and will remain Monday-Thursday 8:30am to 2:30pm. Please note that the Woodbury Public Library hours will not change and remain as follows: Monday-Thursday 10:30am to 9:00pm, Friday 12:00pm to 5:00pm, and Saturday 10:30am to 1:00pm.

Memorial Day Candlelight Vigil – Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 7:00pm. Held at Woodbury’s American Legion Hall, Post 133, 1018 Washington Avenue, Woodbury. Held in honor of our POW/MIA’s, Deployed Troops and Veterans. Special Guests Include: Family members of NJPOW/MIA’s and Woodbury Veterans. Featuring a concert by the Bonsal Blues Band. Memorial Day Observances – Monday, May 25, 2015, starting at 8am – Throughout the City, there will be seven observances to remember fallen soldiers. Each will be 15 minutes long and will feature church choirs, an Honor Guard and Color Guard, “Taps” and an invocation. The observant sites include the WWII Memorial (located at Hendrickson Park) at 8 a.m., Rotary Memorial Park (located at East Barber Avenue and Lake Avenue) at 8:30 a.m., the Civil War Monument (located at Broad Street and Delaware Street) at 9:30 a.m., WWI “The Victor” (located at North Broad and Newton Street) at 10 a.m., the African American Cemetery (located at North Broad and Red Bank Avenue) at 10:30 a.m., the Sailor’s Monument (located on North Broad Street near the Police Department) at 11 a.m., and the “Soldier of Peace” (located at Hunter and Euclid Street) at 11:30 a.m.

Plastic Bag Collection at Woodbury City Hall – Help Woodbury City get a new bench made of recyclable materials! Bring your grocery store and other plastic bags to City Hall and place them in the cardboard receptacle in the City Hall lobby. When we collect enough bags, the City will be entitled to a free bench!
