WOODBURY SNOW REMOVAL UPDATE: As of Monday, January 25, 2016 all the roads in Woodbury have been plowed at least one time. Our crews have been working around the clock since Friday night and will continue to plow all day today. PLEASE NOTE: If you have a fire hydrant in front of your house, please shovel around it so it is accessible. To avoid possible flooding: If you are aware of any storm drains in your neighborhood, please make sure they are clear so, once the snow starts to melt the water has someplace to go. To residents and business owners: As per Woodbury Code 167, all sidewalks must be cleared from snow within 10 hours after a storm ends to avoid any fines. We do understand that there is a lot of snow so, please do the best you can to ensure that your sidewalks are cleared and passible. Also, please do not shovel the snow back into the street. And if you live on a corner lot, if it is possible, please try to shovel out the handicap cut out on the sidewalk so pedestrians are not forced to walk in the roadway.

JANUARY 23 WINTER STORM UPDATE: Due to hazardous road conditions GCOEM is requesting all residents to remain off the roadways unless an emergency. While there is no Executive order [at this time] to remain off the road, we are kindly asking you to remain off the roads due to hazardous conditions, snow drifts and allow plows to clear the roadways. Any questions can be directed to 856-307-4800.

The historic City of Woodbury is a great place to live, work, visit and own a business. Our blend of Colonial and Victoria era homes, natural parks & waterways make this one of Southern New Jersey’s gems. We also have well-regarded public schools with small class sizes and reasonable property values.

As the County Seat of Gloucester County and home to Inspira, formerly known as Underwood-Memorial Hospital, Woodbury is one of the region’s employment centers.  For business investors, we can offer Tax Abatement incentives in our ambitious Broad Street (Route 45) redevelopment corridor. The much anticipated light rail connection to Camden & Philadelphia will truly make this the City you can grow with! Be a part of the excitement!
