Woodbury’s City Hall is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday thru Friday.

Woodbury’s Public Works Office is open between the hours of 6 am to 2 pm, Monday thru Friday.

 Emergency exercise this Sunday at Colonial Apartments

A Full Scale Exercise* involving personnel and equipment resources from Gloucester County, Woodbury and volunteers will be held at the Colonial Park Apartments this Sunday, Sept. 24 from 8 to 11 a.m

This exercise will involve multiple agencies and short term road closures.

Hydrant Flushing

The City of Woodbury Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the city and outlying areas beginning Sunday, September 24, 2017. Flushing will be done from 10 pm to 7 am Sunday through Thursday.

Residents may experience low water pressure and a slight discoloration in their water during this time. If discoloration in water occurs during this time, please run your cold water until clear. Flushing will take approximately 4 – 6 weeks.

The Woodbury Parade Committee are pleased to invite your organization to participate in this year’s Fall Festival Parade to be held on the evening of Saturday, October 7, 2017 (Rain Date: October 14th).  This year’s theme is “LISTEN TO YOUR ART”!  We are challenging you to use this parade theme to entertain the citizens of the Greater Woodbury area and to have fun, but always remember that this is a family parade and to use discretion.  If a parade committee member deems that a parade entry has inappropriate behavior or content, they will not be permitted to participate in or be removed from the parade.  If you have any questions concerning the theme, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Parade contact person below.  For the 5th year in a row, you have an opportunity to have your $10 application fee waived – simply submit your application so that we receive it by August 15, 2017 (One free entry per group/person).

City of Woodbury Shred Event!

October 28th from 9 am to 1 pm @ the Woodbury Police Department

The City will also be collecting Non-perishable food items, gently used clothing, and plastic bags during this event.


The Gloucester County Board of Chosen Freeholders provides two no-interest, deferred loan programs through the Gloucester County Planning Division Housing & Community Development Office for income eligible Gloucester County residents:

  1. Home Rehabilitation Program: assists with housing repairs including but not limited to plumbing, heating, electrical, roofing, walls, ceiling, steps, railings, wells, weather proofing, lead removal and handicap accessibility.
  2. First Time Homebuyer Down-Payment and Closing Cost Assistance Program
